Admission

  • New admissions are subject to vacancies. No correspondence will be entertained in regard to admissions.
  • The Management reserves the right to admit or retain a pupil in the school.
  • New pupils are admitted on payment of the admission fee. The admission fee is non refundable under any circumstances. According to government regulations, only candidates who complete five and a half years as on 31't March of the year in which admission is sought, can be admitted to Standard 1.
  • A candidate who joins fresh or from any other school has to produce an official Birth Certificate such as a Municipal Certificate in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form. If the child's name is not mentioned on the Birth Certificate then original passport along with a photocopy is to be shown for name verification at the time of the confirmation of seat, along with an attested copy of the Birth Certificate or duly notarized by a gazetted officer.
  • Original Report Card/Mark Sheet along with a photocopy.
  • For Out of State candidates, a Transfer Certificate must be submitted along with application form at the time of admission. The school fess will be charged from the month of June, irrespective of the month of admission. The school fees can be paid in 2 instalments — 70% of the fees as first instalment in the month of June, balance 30% payable in October. WITHDRAWAL
  • One calendar month's notice is required to be given for the withdrawal of the student.
  • School Leaving Certificate will be issued only after all the school dues have been paid in full. RULES FOR ISSUE OF LEAVING CERTIFICATE

  • The admission fee receipt is to be produced while applying for TC SCHOOL UNIFORM The school uniform sample will be available with the school staff and instructions regarding the same will be shared with the parents/guardian at the time of enrolment. All students must come neatly dressed to school on all days.
  • Jewellery of any kind is STRICTLY PROHIBITED other than ear studs for Girls Only. No dangling or fancy earrings allowed. Students from class V and above are permitted to wear watches.
  • Girls having long hair will plait their hair (single plait or two plaits) using only black rubber bands or ribbon. No colourful hair accessories allowed.
  • Boys will strictly adhere to crewcut hairstyle only.

School Rules & Discipline

  • The School has high expectations with regard to standards of work, courtesy, discipline, and self control. Rules of conduct have been drawn up which are designed to enable all to live in a safe and orderly environment, where the well being of an individual is promoted and their rights respected. Pupils are expected to conform and the full cooperation of parents is anticipated. Pupils whose conduct or failure to produce assignments gives cause for concern, or who breaks the School Rules, sanctions as deemed necessary will be imposed. Sanctions may include reprimand or warning, loss of privileges, fine, or imposition as the case may be.
  • All students must attend the first day of school term as well as the last day of the school term.
  • The school diary should be brought to the school daily. Parents are requested to read this daily and sign against teacher's remarks or notifications.
  • School begins with assembly and students are 'required to be in time for assembly. • Students are not in full uniform or who come late to school are liable to be sent home.
  • Students are required to wear the school uniform at all times when attending or visiting school, unless otherwise directed by the school authorities.
  • Students may be required to attend school on Saturdays for extra classes or school functions. It will be compulsory for those students for whom the extra classes are intended or whose attendance is required.
  • Students are not permitted to ride mopeds, scooters, or any other motor vehicle to and from the school.
  • The Management is empowered at the request of the Principal to withdraw a student or to remove the name of a student from the school rolls if the application, progress, or conduct of such a student is, in the opinion of the Principal, unsatisfactory.
  • Parents/friends/ex-students wishing to visit the school premises or meet a teacher/facilitator must first obtain permission from the Principal. The timings are restricted from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays only.
  • Any form of unwarranted behaviour or indiscipline within the school premises will result in stern action against the student.
  • Intentional absenteeism before or during any test/internal assessment/examination without prior "Leave Sanction" by the Principal is strictly discouraged.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, loitering in school premises, disobedience, bad conduct, stealing, any form of verbal or written obscenity, writing on the walls in classrooms/desks/toilets, or damage of school property would justify stern disciplinary actions by the Management including removal of school property or property belonging to other students. Any wilful damage will be the liability of the parents/guardians and must be paid for.
  • Students are NOT ALLOWED to eat or chew gum in the classrooms. Students caught doing so will face disciplinary actions.
  • Bullying/Ragging/Cyber Bullying, uploading of material on the internet which is detrimental to the students, staff, and school as a whole will result in the school authorities taking strict measures against the concerned person/s. Any student involving outsiders after school hours anywhere outside the premises to threaten or intimidate or physically assault her/his peers/classmates will be suspended and legal action will be pursued along with filing of a police complaint.

Recommendation to Parents/Guardians

  • Parents/guardians are an integral part of the school and the school expects them to cooperate in enforcing all the guidelines that will benefit the child and assist in the smooth functioning of the school.
  • Parents/Guardians should use the school diary to communicate with the Teachers regarding their child's academics or behaviour. All other matters should be addressed to the Principal.
  • The school insists on punctuality, regular school attendance, regulation regarding uniform, cleanliness in dress, good grooming, and fidelity to study and work assignments.
  • As the medium of instruction in the school is English, parents/guardians should provide ample opportunities to their children to converse in English at home.
  • Parents/Guardians need to check that their ward does not carry a mobile phone to school. In case of emergencies, the school landline will be used by students.
  • If a student is found carrying a mobile phone or any other electronic device, it will be confiscated and a fine of Rs. 2000/- will be imposed. The mobile will be returned only in the month of March.
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to encourage their ward to take a balanced interest in scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities including sports.
  • Parents/Guardians are advised to STRICTLY AVOID criticism of school and school teachers in the presence of the ward, or spread false allegations/rumours in society at large. Any matter of such nature should be taken up with the Principal only.
